This last year has been crazy. I surpassed 200 shows this year. I was a
featured artist on over 40 records. I owe all that to my connection with the
fans. I had been planting seeds and connecting the dots and it paid off this
year. The success I’ve seen this year leads me to believe I’m moving in the
right direction. I’ve learned to be consistent, to be undeniable and to stay
in people’ faces. By staying out there, around the country around the world,
doing shows and promo I get to gauge what areas I need to campaign harder in
or if I don’t really need to saturate a certain area that I’m good in.

[Being on the road] is a good gauge of what gaps I need to fill in. Moving
forward, this year I’m excited to be a part of Drake’s Paradise Tour. I also
have an album, _Based On A True Story,_ due out August 14th. I’m also working
on a movie and soundtrack by the same name to go along with the album. [2012]
is off to a great start …
